Frequently asked questions
You’ve got questions?
Good. I’ve got answers.
-
I am based in Spokane, WA. I see clients online via telehealth for all of Washington state.

Online therapy has a lot in common with in-person therapy, but there are some key differences to keep in mind.
For online therapy, you’ll need a quiet, private place, a device (computer, tablet, or smart phone), and a good internet connection.
Before your session starts, you’ll receive a link via email or text message prior to the appointment. Then you’ll click on the link to join the video session.
The video platform is secure and HIPAA-compliant.
Online therapy's a great option if you’ve got a tight schedule (commute), can’t get around easily, or just feel more comfortable at home.
You can participate from anywhere in Washington State!

I currently do not offer in-person sessions.
-
I currently work exclusively with individual adults. If you need support outside this area, I’m happy to help you find a referral to a qualified provider.

Individual therapy, 53 minutes: $140
I accept most major insurance plans, including Kaiser, Ambetter, Cigna, Premera BCBS, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Regence.
If I'm out of network with your insurance, I can provide superbills—these are detailed receipts you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Your first appointment will be an intake session, where we’ll get to know each other and talk about your background, how things are going for you now, and what you'd like to work on. We won’t go into detail about past experiences unless you feel ready, and you’re never required to share anything you're not comfortable with. I’ll also explain what to expect from the therapy process and answer any questions you have.
After that, we’ll come up with a plan together and meet regularly to work toward your goals. In each session, we’ll talk about how things are going and use specific tools or exercises to support your progress.
Through our work together, you may gain insight, build confidence, and start finding some relief. While therapy can be challenging at times, it can also help you feel more supported and better equipped to navigate what you're going through.
-
The length of therapy varies from person to person—it depends on your past experiences, current needs, and goals. Some people work with me for a few months, while others continue for a year or longer. Growth and healing take time, consistency, and effort, but ultimately, you’ll decide what timeline feels right for you.
